36 Foreign-funded Companies Invested in Shaanxi with $1.348 Billion in First 4 Months

According to the latest statistics of the Provincial Commerce Department, there were 36 newly-approved foreign-funded companies in Shaanxi in the first 4 months, with the actual utilization of foreign capital of $1.348 billion, up by 92.9% year on year. Despite the decrease of the amount of foreign-funded companies, the utilization of foreign capital of joint venture and foreign-funded companies rose by 121% and 78.8% year on year respectively, which meant largest companies and projects invested in Shaanxi were increasing.

The newly-approved 36 companies focused on industry and services. And the secondary industry attracted foreign capital of $1.096 billion, up by 113.2%, especially in processing and manufacturing.
